If you already have made an inventory for the property in question using our software
then we recommend that you use the dashboard to create a check out for it, doing it this way give you
access to the check out inventory feature and also makes the check out and inventory fall under the same property ID
this means that they will be easier to find and when preforming the check out the property details will already
be filled in saving you a little time. |If you make and changes to the check out inventory when the document is completed
all the changes that you have made will be high lighted so when you compare the two documents side by side the amendments will stand out.
To create a check out document first you have to find the property you want in you area on the system,
to find out how to do this read "Wed Dashboard Overview" in the Web Dashboard section.
Once you have found the property in question if you look in the right hand side you you will
see a selection of document types and a count of how many there are for that property for
example the one selected below already has one inventory associated with it.
Click on the check outs and then on the left hand side you will see the option "New Check Out" Click on this.
This will then take you to the assign menu out, this a drop down list containing all the users
that are associated with your client server space. Simply select your self and then click the assign button on the bottom right of the screen.
once you have done that you will be left with a screen that looks like the one below
If you then log into the app on your device and click the update button at the top of the screen it
will bring two documents to your device a "Check Out" and a "Check Out Inventory"
purpose if the check out inventory is so that you can can cross reference the current property
condition with the inventory on your device, this is merely a duplicate of the one that is
on the system so it the best way of preserving the previous inventory but still using its contents.
