Turning off 3G (If Applicable)

Parent Previous Next

Your device will automatically flick between 3G and Wifi without you knowing depending

on which signal is strong, the problem with this is that when it flicks between the two the Internet

will temporarily drop out sometimes causing the upload to fail. To remedy this all you have to do

is simple turn 3G off so your device will be only be using the wifi signal. Not all iPads have 3G

capability so if your iPad does not have a sim card then skip this section.

To turn of your 3G signal first you have to go into the settings section again then

when your in settings select "CellularData" (the symbol is a telephone mast).

At the top of the options will be a switch to turn cellular data on or off, just turn

this off and you will have turned off the 3G signal on your device.
